Wallriding
Apology's once again for the lack of posts recently but I haven't had much chance to do any skateboarding or photography due to work. However the bank holiday weekend gave me a few days off to to partake in both of those ventures. Me and James Coyle went on a little mission around the industrial estates of Howdon and North Shields on Sunday and BS wallrides ended up being the trick of choice for the day.
We sniped this first spot through a fence whilst looking for something else entirely. It's rough, rugged and really hard to skate. CLICK TO ENLARGE.
This second spot is even harder to skate than the first as the run up is about 3m long, meaning you have to run across grass and jump onto your board before instantly being hit by a tight bank to wall. The run out is also a bit of a nightmare.
Second angle.
Jimbo had planned to complete a hat-trick of wallrdies at another spot but unfortunately this happened...
It's not as bad at might look, hopefully he'll only be out for a few weeks. Although, having only just recovered from spraining his other ankle on the big push this can be considered incredibly bad luck.
I will be continuing to work a lot for the coming weeks but I'll do my best to get some more posting done soon.
Ben.
