KOTHM Team Swag: Part 2

Phil Madden was undoubtedly MVP for Team Swag on Saturday and that covers both skating and partying. This road gap is enormous, the sequence doesn't do it that much justice but believe me it's big.

Once Phil shutdown the days skating it was time to get our swag on. The Party that ensued was pretty rowdy, it was hard for me to focus the lens in my inebriated state but here's a few that came out rather amusing.

Let's hope next years Howman ends as stupidly brilliant as this, perhaps it will been even better. Big thanks to Adam and the Deekies for restoring KOTHM to it's former glory. See you at the premier.

King of the Howman: Team Swag part 1.

This weekend saw the return of the infamous King of the Howman contest after a two year hiatus and I think everyone will agree that it was a sick weekend so big up to dD for organising it. Team Swag consisted of a number of the North East's finest skateboarding and partying patrons, too many to mention so let's just say we were rolling deep. I shot a roll of film over Saturday and Sunday and here's what came of it. CLICK TO ENLARGE.

Jimbo sweats out the night befores intoxicants.

One speed, one gear, GO!

The Yoda uses the force in order to not die.

Breaking and entering.

Phil gets his swag on, back side flip.

Easy like a Sunday morning.

Here we see the team beautifully combining Swag and Mosh.

Lookout for some Swag party photos in part 2 which will be coming soon.

Feb/March 35mm

Throughout February and March I gradually shot a roll of fuji 200 35mm film. Below are the shots that made the cut. CLICK TO ENLARGE.

Jamie peruses February's Issue of Sidewalk to find Matty Smith's debut appearance in the mag.

Nial reminds us all of how fast his feet are with a quick nose pick pop in.

Ghetto Sean reverting to Hippy Sean for this particular jump.

Dan bs flip.

Matty with a big ollie in person as opposed to in paper.

Kurt performs the first trick of a line while homies watch on from a distance.

Here's the second trick of the same line and as usual he's getting gnarly with a shiftied out kickflip into a sandpaper bank.

And here's a few shots that aren't of skating to finish off.

West Jesmond

Saturday saw a beautiful day spent skating my old primary school in Jesmond. One thing for sure was that we were rolling deep with about 30 people on the session, unfortunately because of this we did attract some attention and eventually got moved on by the police. I only got my camera out about 15 minutes before we got the boot so this is all I managed to document.

Dale Patterson with his first appearance on d.o.t.t. Keeping it gangster as always with a nollie inward heel.

Jimbo switch heels so high that the bench may as well not be there.

To finish we have Kurt ollying a mini picnic table. CLICK TO ENLARGE.
