Thursday Theatrics

Today the sun was beating down on the Toon like little Will beats down on the kids at school. The days blogging started off at a virgin ledge near the quayside, I've always wondered if it would be skateable and it turns out all we needed was copious amounts of wax and someone with pop. It's tough to skate as the ground is rough and there is a drain cover just before it. However the drain does provide a little bump to help you get up to the ledge, Joe busted out a couple of moves before we got busted from the spot. CLICK TO ENLARGE the still images.

Crooked grind.

After getting kicked off the ledge we were heading back to the car when Will suggested skating this road gap for a little while.

Here will front side 180's before getting a bollard up the arse.

Joe then showed Will how to avoid getting spiked after rolling a nice back side flip.

Following the street gap session we headed to pilgrim where Joe intended to skate the gap over the stairs to the car park. In our wisdom we forgot that car parks in town have cars parked in them during the day so Joe headed over to the 8 stair instead.

He landed a few tricks but this is the only decent photo. kickflip.

After getting back to the car to avoid a parking ticket we decided to go to the wasteland to chill and finish the days skating. Jamie was there and was going off.

As you can see Josh was on filming duties and a video featuring much more from Jamie is coming soon.
